Gorgeous property & amazing southern hospitality
5/5 Our stay was wonderful. Hosts were very kind, hospitable and welcoming. By far one of, if not the nicest, vacation properties we’ve ever rented. It was great meeting Jeff & Elizabeth! They even baked us fresh bread! Thank you so much for making our weekend so relaxing

5/5 Our stay at Captain Jack's Retreat was very relaxing! The home is beautiful and the apartment was just as described, very clean and organized with plenty of space. The hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay! The pool was lovely and you can't beat the view! We enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaks and floating in the lake. The lake was much nicer than we expected! The home hosts were very warm, welcoming and very accommodating.
Just a note that the owners do live in the house, so you may hear a few footsteps upstairs and on occasional the dogs might bark, but it was not bothersome to us. Overall, our experience was a very pleasant one and we have stayed at many short term rentals and would rate this one near the top! If you are looking to experience Lake Murray, then this is a wonderful place to stay!

5/5 Our stay was so relaxing in this beautiful setting. The hosts were responsive and went over and above to meet any need we had. The bed was very comfy and the apartment spotless.

5/5 We had a wonderful stay! Everything was as beautiful as shown. I am always concerned about shared space but it was absolutely no problem. You cannot go wrong booking this rental. Quality all around and kindness from the hosts.
