3/5 This was my first experience with a VRBO so I was unsure what to expect. The check-in process was easy. The property was located in a perfect spot and was incredibly scenic. That's about where the good ended. The inside of the property was very stale smelling. There was mold on the ceiling of both of the bathrooms that could possibly be the source. There seemed to be a lot of deferred maintenance on the property. The cabinets in the kitchen didn't quite close in a lot of cases, the shower head in the main bathroom was detached from the wall, and one of the deck railing panels fell out due to the wind. The pictures on the site looked great but they must be from a few years ago as everything in person seemed to have aged a bit and looked ever so slightly worse for wear. It wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed but I would not stay here again.

Great lake house
5/5 Beautiful view of the lake. Even though it rained all week, we enjoyed the house and property very much! Well appointed, comfortable bed and linens. Hope to stay again in the future.

Wonderful spot on Lake Murray
5/5 Nice, quiet area around Lake Murry with great water view and access. We were able to launch our boat on site, which was an additional plus.
