  • Great view outside/inside left much to be desired

    The view and being right on the lake was great. However, the house had issues. There was a roach and spider problem we fought the entire time. The air conditioner filter was so dirty we bought one and replaced it. There were 5 wash rags for 3 people so we had to wash towels daily. The vacuum cleaner was still filled with dog hair and smelled when we tried to use it. The indoor games had been removed during the flooring being changed so that was not available for us for the entire stay. I hope they spend some time really cleaning things like baseboards, changing out the rusty shower curtain and install a door to the one full bath instead of just having a shower curtain.

    The place was cozy and clean. The fishing was great. Caught some really big cats. Biggest was about 35 lbs,25lbs and a few 10 and 5 pounders. My dog had a great time after dark because the house biting flies were horrible. Need to do something about them for sure, they hurt.
