MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY
5/5 I want to thank the owners of the “Guest House on Shohola Creek” for a very special weekend. I truly enjoyed the peacefulness of the property, the calming sound of the brook and especially the beautifully decorated and comfortable guest house. My expectations were surpassed and I will definitely be coming back as my schedule allows. If you like Nature bathing, breathing pure, fresh, clean air (what a difference from the city), and sitting by the picturesque Shohola Creek (or fishing) this place is for you too!
I will forever keep this place in my favorites there is so much to see and do around the towns close by was Milford great restaurants. Cannot wait to check it out in the winter, ski resorts literally 20 min drive away.

5/5 We just spent an amazing weekend at this property! It is beautiful and enjoyable on so many levels. It is even more beautiful in person! The decor makes the entire house feel so cozy and inviting, you will not want to leave. The outside has a beautiful large deck overlooking a creek! The sound of the creek is so relaxing while drinking coffee on the deck or falling asleep at night. You can spend the entire day hanging out down at the creek and relaxing around the house. It was very well stocked with generous touches that let you know the owners really want to welcome you to their home. Elias was a gracious host and an absolute pleasure to work with.
The house was also in a great location with many activities nearby like hiking at the waterfalls, eating at the town of Milford etc.
Looking forward to returning soon for longer than a weekend!
