  • Not a waterfront property! Clean spacious, basic, 10 am checkout

    The property was spacious, kept clean, appliances though dated (dishwasher) worked fine. It was a nice suburban property on a golf course.

    There was a cute outdoor deck and surrounded by trees.

    I was disappointed that the beds had to be made, including fitted sheets we had put evrything on, even pillow cases on. We had to spend our vacation time doing these things that should've been done.

    There was only half a roll of kitchen towel single ply. Two very old looking dish cloths which didn't use. The bathrooms had single ply toilet rolls (gas station style). There was just one and one tenth of it in one bedroom.

    The hosts kept exactly 4 towels in all maybe cause we were 5 people. There were no extras and none for the 5th person in our group so we had to share.

    As soon as we entered there was a shoe rack with the owners slippers and shoes welcoming us. The guest book had multiple entries thanking the owners for letting guests borrow slippers so the white carpets didn't get dirty. Seemed odd to have so many comment because it was basic 80s carpeting in a light colour.

    Although the house was nice enough all these little things created a mildly unpleasant experience.

    Vrbo messages went unanswered.

    There was no waterfront as advertised.

    And the checkout was 10 am which was too early for a 4 pm check in.

    -As is standard in the vacation rental industry, the homeowner provides a starter amount of toiletries and other essential supplies for our guests. Generic products may be offered at times to accommodate all guest comfort and preferences. We apologize if the products provided did not fit your needs.
    -We are sorry to hear that you were not left with an adequate number of towels. We have taken steps to ensure this does not occur in the future. We wish you would have reached out to the guest contact during your stay. They would have been more than happy to help with any issues while you were in residence to make your stay most comfortable.

  • Could be better

    The house looks like it was never vacuumed. The blinds look like they have never been dusted. The house was infested with tons of lady bugs. The kitchen supply was rather scarce. There were no towels to use to bathe. The pictures make the house look beautiful but it was rather filthy. Had a great vacation, would probably choose a different house next time.

    - We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously. We use a cleaning crew to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival.
    - There are plenty of towels and washcloths in each bathroom. Also, there was only 1 ladybug found in the home. The carpets are vacuumed and spot-cleaned and the blinds are dusted before guests' arrival.
    - We wish you had reached out to us during your stay. We would've been more than happy to send our cleaning crew to resolve your concerns and make your stay more comfortable.
    - While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that no issues were reported by our most recent guests.
