  The house is very comfortable and very clean , what l didn't like was that after paying a significant amount for the rent at the last minute l had to pay an extra $ 100 dollar to be able enter the place , they put up sing saying that the BBQ doesn't t have gas so you don t used it and that the hot top doesn't work so you don't use it , they lower the heat at night it is colder when we arrived it was snowing and no one cleaned the stairs , l had to clean them myself on the 3rd day snowed again and l had to clean it up too there is no vacuum cleaner to clean up if you drop something

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - We are in a Gated Community and these are their regulations. The information about the temporary membership is provided to you before booking the property and also in the pre-stay information that you receive before you arrive at the property. We also messaged this information to you.
  - We never leave an empty tank and always provide an extra tank. We wish you had reached out if you thought it was empty we would have explained this to you. We do not have any signs saying the BBQ is not to be used.
  - The heat is not controlled by the owner it is controlled by the guest in each room. We also had a fire started for you before you arrived so it would be nice and warm.
  - We apologize for the inconvenience but so that we do not disturb our guests we do not clean the stairs during your stay. We do provide you with a broom and a shovel that are found on the deck if needed.
  - We do not provide a vacuum but there is a broom in the house.
  
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

  We had a wonderful weekend despite the cool misty weather. The home was perfect..very clean and spacious. The kitchen had all we needed. We used the firepit and the grill..both were in great condition. I love the community this home is located in…lots to do. Owner was prompt in responses to questions.

• Lovely Lakehouse Stay

  My family and I have stayed at Arrowhead lake before and this stay was just as lovely. The house is quaint and cozy with a log cabin feeling inside. The addition of the sun room and loft area are really nice extra spaces for the kids to play indoors or for some quiet relaxation time.

  The little extras like cozy blankets and extra towels available in every room was a nice touch as well and made the house feel very homey.

  Everything was well kept and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked minus a toaster. Tea was provided, coffee was not which would have been nice.

  The firepit area was really nice for making s’more’s. We did not get the chance to use the BBQ but it is a gas grill.

  A fitted sheet for one of the queen beds was actually for a twin. So we did not have linen for one bedroom. It would have been a nice for detergent to be provided in the laundry area.

  These minor issues aside we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.
