  Kitchen was outfitted well, one of the best I’ve had. First floor bedroom and bathroom were miserably cold. The floors felt like they had no insulation.

As noted in our listing, the first-floor bedroom can run cooler during the winter months, which is why we provide a portable electric oil-filled radiator to help keep the space comfortable. During your stay, temperatures were extremely cold, which can impact that area more than others. We also have a Nest thermostat with remote access and noticed the heat remained set at 68°F. We do not restrict the thermostat in the winter, and guests are always welcome to adjust it to a higher temperature if desired. Thank you for letting us know about your visit."

  Really enjoyed our stay at this place. Very spacious inside and had all the amenities. Bedrooms are very large also. House was clean and comfortable. Giant couch with three recliners built into it, very comfy!No problem with parking right in front. Would definitely stay again.

  The apartment is very large with 4 good-sized bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a half bath so there was lots of space for our family to spread out. The unit was very clean and well stocked, and the location was ideal for getting to/from CMU for move-in weekend for our son. Two small concerns -- there was a very strong cooking smell that permeated the unit around 3 am one of the nights. I'm not sure if it was coming from another adjacent unit but it was difficult to air it out and left all of our clothing smelling of garlic. Could be just a one-time thing or something about how the AC vents are routed, but I wanted to mention it so others could be aware. Also, there is a spot on the ceiling in the upstairs king bedroom where it looks like water may be leaking behind the drywall in the ceiling. There was no water dripping out of it but I was concerned that the ceiling was quite soft in that area and it likely needs to be addressed. Other than those two small things, we had a great stay!
