A cute and cozy cabin in the heart of Amish Country
5/5 Although this cabin is situated in the middle of a working Amish community, the experience was invigorating, yet utterly relaxing. The hosts were cordial and definitely accommodating. In addition, the cabin was completely cozy and easily accessible. Although the separate shower/bathroom was a mild inconvenience, it did not detract from the overall experience. The babbling brook behind the cabin was very refreshing and soothing. This is a great hidden find.

Peach Farm Paradise :)
5/5 Wonderful! Let me tell you, this property is simply gorgeous. It’s a delightfully quaint and well manicured Peach Farm, nestled in the woods of beautiful Pennsylvania along side a pristine stream! It is very quiet and peaceful with the only sounds you’ll hear being the stream, birds, crickets.
The owner is a peaceful and generous man who will allow you all the privacy you need and will also welcome you to wonder around his peach farm to take in the landscape and enjoy a delicious peach right off the tree (when in season). And don’t be surprised if on your walk you find a happy friendly dog or two coming to greet you to say hi and solicit some cuddles :).
I came here for a personal retreat to get away from the high paced, stressful world we’ve all grown too accustomed to and it was truly a reminder there are other ways to live and be free in this world besides the reality that is consistently broadcast to us. For 3 days I had no internet, no news, no tv, and it was wonderful! There is cell reception so don’t worry that you’ll be completely out of contact but don’t plan on streaming movies or anything like that either.
Truly a slice of Heaven, Enjoy!!
