5/5 My brothers and my sister and I had a sibling reunion to catch up with each other in a beautiful setting. No wifi, no TV, no problem. It was just what we were hoping for. It was a very hot, humid weekend but the air conditioners in every room kept the house very comfortable. A wonderful weekend get together.

Quiet retreat
4/5 Our group had a wonderful time at the Mountain House! The kids had fun exploring the grounds and playing on the tire swing. We saw wildlife (bunnies, woodchucks, frogs). The property also afforded us a beautiful show from the fireflies. It was quiet and private but close to everything we needed (Lake Tobias and Chocolate World)!Only downside was the grill. We opened it up to make hamburgers and found that everything under the grates was completely rusted out. Bummer! Otherwise, would recommend this house!

Amazing property
5/5 Gorgeous property, old farmhouse beautifully remodeled. No tv’s but we all had so much fun exploring the woods and fields and playing their games, no one missed it! Owner called to give us the code to get in. The master bedroom has a toilet and tub but no sink- there is a full bath in the hall. There is a second full bath on the main floor. No bath on the 3rd floor. Hiking paths, huge yard. Pet friendly. Stocked kitchen with the tools you need. Lots of clean towels and washcloths. Tire swing! Would come back here again.
