  This apartment is spacious, comfortable, and in a great location in downtown Meadville. The stairs that lead up to it can be a challenge for people with limited mobility, but once you get up there you have a two bedroom apartment with family room, dining room, kitchen and bath, overlooking Main Street and only a block from the beautiful park downtown. The building is old, but that’s part of its appeal. The floors are original, solid oak, the doors have old door knobs that wiggle and require a push to latch, and the bathroom feels like something from 50 years ago, but none of this takes away from the experience and in fact makes the experience memorable. The house has personality!

  Free WiFi is provided, and the family room has a 55” smart TV. You can access Pluto TV and YouTube for free, but you’ll need to sign in to other streaming service if you want Netflix, Hulu, etc..

  Across the street is Pizza Villa, one of the very best pizzerias you’ll find in Meadville or anywhere. Their pies are delicious and stacked high with cheese and toppings, and their ice cream shop serves massive scoops of ice cream at very reasonable prices. Around the corner is Julian’s, consistently rated one of the ten best restaurants in Meadville. Walk a couple blocks to Park Ave and there are many other excellent choices of restaurants to choose from. Walk through the park and you’re only a block away from two pharmacies, where you can pick up any essentials you need for your stay.

  The apartment has a garage behind the back yard, but you’re better off parking in front of the house in one of the parking spots, just bring quarters for the meters because parking costs $0.50/hr from 9am-5:30pm on weekdays, and I hear they’re closely watched. It’s worth it, though—the garages in the alleys just aren’t easy to get in and out of.

  If you have any problems or need anything while you stay here, the manager will take excellent care of you. She’s very responsive, and will help you with anything you need
