4th of july weekend

While the property itself is hard to find and a bit complicated in getting the pool/hottub to work. The place is fantastic for a smaller pool party/entertaining friends who stop by (but parking is limited) what absolutely made our stay was the help we recieved when we needed help. Ive used both air b&b and vrbo many times now and hands down he solved all our problems, was so friendly on the phone, as well as you could tell he cared. There are always things that are not perfect and sometimes especially on holidays its harder to find solutions. His demeanor and willingness to help us was outstanding. Few suggestions to help furture guests:1. I went to the wrong house at first, clearer directions as to the fact you have to turn up an unmarked road would have prevented that. 2. List or inform guests if there are smaller items such as soap you have to bring with you if it will not be supplied. Seems silly till you forget to bring your own lol. 3. Include a message saying please call us to get the hot tub/pool running until it can be made more efficient. But if they do have to call, our guy was the best around. Overall thank you for making an impromptu 4th of july celebration with long time friends whos plans fell through, amazing. Best wishes on the property.

Interesting house

The house is definitely interesting - from the 70s with lots of TVs and stairs - getting to the house then once inside the house. Please don't stay here if you have young children, as they can fall through railings. There are only two spots to park as indicated in the description. It was fine. We didn't use the outside since the pool and hot tub weren't opened yet, but I imagine that would be a good place to hang out. We didn't have major issues. Host was very responsive.

Bad Experience

The pool and hot tub are wonderful.

However, we arrived to see three interior cameras running inside the house, which was very upsetting. We unplugged them, and Carl immediately called and texted that he needed to come remove them. It was very creepy.

We also had to wait almost 2 hours to gain access because we were told the cleaners went MIA. When we finally got in, the house wasn't clean at all. Rodent droppings in the kitchen, dead spiders and cobwebs all over the ceilings, floors covered in dirt and debris, dead bugs on the floors. Also, there was a fruit fly and ant infestation, along with live and dead centipedes. Bathrooms were not clean and had hair, debris and dead bugs present. Bath tub needed cleaned badly, but ended up not even working.

It was clear the house isn't taken care of of cleaned well - for a long time. Air BnB shows poor reviews of this house, mostly around the cleanliness. I wish we would have checked other sites before booking.

We were too uncomfortable and ended our stay early, after spending money and time on cleaning supplies. Waiting for Evolve to help get us a refund. And we hope the property owner takes action to clean this place up. It has potential, but it needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom before guests should stay there. Very disappointing, stressful, and upsetting. Especially having a child with us.

not ready for rental

This house has a ton of potential, but right now it is not rental ready. Lots of seating areas but no coffee tables. A pool table replaced the dining table, and the room is too small for a pool table. And the house really needs a dining table! Needs a coat of paint to hide large spackled areas and markings all over walls that are more than just normal wear and tear. If you cannot do stairs, this is not for you. There are stairs to literally every room in the house inside and out. The stove is on such a slant that all liquids you cook with end up on one side of the pan.

Again, lots of potential, beautiful outside but just not ready for the price they are charging.

Plus no welcome book to tell you any info about the house!
