This house was exactly as described. It was very clean and nicely furnished. It was a pretty quiet location. We enjoyed the boathouse and swimming right off of the dock.
I read that there was no air conditioning and so I hoped that it wouldn't be too hot when we were there, but it was and that's just the way it goes. Maybe some blinds or room-darkening curtains on the front of the house would help keep the house cooler on very hot days.

Everything was there. It is a very clean and great house. I highly recommend this place.
This house was in a great location with awesome lakefront views while maintaining privacy, which is super rare for a lake property. I loved the historic charm and updates. The fall colors on the lake were incredible and a welcome sight to wake up to. A couple of notes that I did not pick up from the listing: the house is separated from the lake by a road and the boat house is in pretty rough shape, but this house was something special and we would recommend anyone to stay there.
