This cabin was very cozy! We got lucky and had beautiful weather. Temp was perfect with the windows open, and we only used the space heater the last night. It was definitely tight with 4 of us, but we were just fine. My only suggestion would be to lose the closet in the entry way and use that space for a larger shower. Great location to the lake and a cozy stay.

Starting off on a good note, the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious, the furniture was comfortable, and it did offer the lake view and dock access. Unfortunately that was about the extent of the good.. the bathroom was so small It was about the size of a small closet making getting dressed and other small tasks extremely difficult. The bedrooms did not have tvs, which isn't bad, but unfortunate. Wireless internet was terrible, we were hardly able to use the TV because the internet was so slow nothing would load. Parking was probably one of the biggest annoyances. Very small place to park and only fit one vehicle.. at... most. It also lists outside seating in which I'm assuming was the screened in porch, there was so much furniture you couldn't walk through. The grill was so small you could maybe cook 2 burgers at a time... tiny. The firepit was honestly sad. It was so hard to have a fire in because it was soo small the coals couldn't get air flow and the fire would continue to die. The bedrooms have sliding dividers for doors, no actual doors with locks. Lastly this place could definitely use an air purifier. The smell was pretty overpowering of a musty wet basement.
Stayed at this property with my 3 year old son for a little get away and this property offered us everything we needed for a weekend get away. Newton lake is such a beautiful gem for some great swimming and lounging out at the beach area.
