  My wife and I arrived the day after Thanksgiving in the afternoon and it was cold with some light rain & snow mixed in. The first thing that hit us was how cold the house was so I immediately started to turn up the thermostats. There were electric base board heaters thru the house and the upstairs also had a AC/Heat mounted unit between the living room and dining area and I turned the thermostat on that to 80. The downstairs level is where the bedrooms are located and each room also has a wall mounted AC/Heat unit and I turned on the thermostat also to 80.There was a cast Iron wood burning stove in the corner of the living room which is located on the 2nd level so I thought I would light a fire to add some additional heat and warmth. However there were only 2 pieces of logs and no small kindling pieces of woods or a fire starter log. There was no wood on the deck outside. It was already dark and the rain/snow mix had increased so I gave up on that idea. We eat a light dinner, watched some TV before heading to bed, located on the 1st floor. The tempature

  -The heat issue was reported the morning after check-in, by which time the home's temperature was eighty-six degrees and deemed satisfactory. The thermostat had been set to sixty-eight degrees before your arrival, a comfortable setting for most guests. Earlier notification would have allowed us to assist promptly.
  
  -In light of the inconvenience, we offered a late 2:00 pm checkout, which you kindly accepted, and we’re glad that the temperature issue was no longer a concern for the remainder of your stay.
  
  -Our listing mentions a starter amount of wood is provided, and guests are responsible for additional wood if used up. If you had raised a concern, we would have directed you to the wood pile under the deck.
  
  We are committed to providing an exceptional experience for all our guests and take pride in welcoming many more, as reflected by the positive feedback we consistently receive.
