4/5 The house was as described. The communication with the host was fantastic. There were a couple of issues we ran into. But the owner was quick to correct them.The basement hall would benefit with some kind of nightlight. In the evening, it is extremely dark down there and hard to see if you’re trying to get to the bathroom or stairs.

Do not rent this place
1/5 The basement level of this property was uninhabitable. There was a terrible odor and it was wet/moist downstairs. The sheets and towels all felt wet. We had 3 families staying here and had to leave because we could not sleep downstairs. We contacted our point of person and was offered us a full refund.

Laura, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The home is currently under agreement of sale, and an inspection identified a small amount of mold in the closet under the stairs.
- A remediation company treated the issue just before your arrival, and the odor you noticed was likely from the sealant used to complete the work.
- A full refund was offered right away, and the issue has since been resolved, with no odor reported by subsequent guests.
