We stayed last year for 3 days, it was so nice & relaxing that this year we stayed for 5 days. We absolutely love it here! Even my 6yr old granddaughter said, "Dad, this feels like home". The cabin is so clean & cozy, it has everything you could need. The owner Nick is very nice, down to earth, and easy to talk to, we even met the cleaning lady as we were leaving, she is an absolute gem. Every morning I would have my coffee on the front porch and wait for the deer to show up, they never disappoint. I had brought some yard games, but found that there are some already there for your use, so we had some great cornhole competitions. One night we sat out by the fire and watched a meteor shower. So beautiful. Its nice to go to Erie but not have to stay in the hustle and bustle of the summer beach goers. At the cabin, your just about a 45 minute drive away. Honestly, you get the best of both worlds!Thank you Nick!

Really enjoyed the stay.
Great location, perfect porch.
Would stay here again.
We went on our first family vacation in years... We are from Pittsburgh, and I decided to go to Lake Erie during the "great heat wave". Well, we decided to stay here, which is about a 45 minute drive to the lake. The pictures need updated to include some summer photos, it looks a lot different with all the trees grown in. It was really peaceful. There is a pond on the property. My kids and I enjoyed looking in to see the (loud) frogs and fish. Inside, there is an open floor plan. The couches were comfy. The kitchen, where I spent a lot of time, has a lot of the basic needs for cooking. They have a gas grill on the back deck. The beds were too soft for me... I felt like I was sleeping on a waterbed. They have ACs in all the bedrooms. There was an issue with the toilet... on the first night, water shot out from the valve, leaving water all over the bathroom floor. We cleaned it up, of course, and turned the valve down to reduce the pressure. I texted Nick who responded right away (it was late). His wife and the maintenance man came the next morning to fix it. Apparently, there was a crack in the valve, and the whole thing needed replaced. His wife apologized and bought us 2 bottles of wine and a case of beer, which was appreciated. They do have a washer and dryer, which came in handy after our day at the beach. They also have a lot of cleaning products, mops, brooms, rags, etc. As a mom of 4, I really appreciated this! Made cleanup easy! And they also have a high-chair for those of us who have smaller kids (I have an 18 month-old). The older kids really liked the house and asked for us to come back, which we will in the winter time. Overall, a great place!
