Our stay was from July 2 -8, 2023. Myself and 3 friends found the property to be absolutely fabulous! The house was spotless and provided all the necessities that we could ever want. When home, we spent most of our time on the front porch, but also enjoyed the back patio, and of course, the indoors. It was a pleasure to meet and converse with our host, Curtis and his father. The location is very quiet and teeming with wildlife. This included Deer, rabbits, birds, wild turkey, and groundhogs, etc.. Directly across the road from the house is a field that was abundant with thousands of Fireflies, who would come out at twilight every evening. What a joy to watch! (We all sent videos home to our wives)! We have been taking motorcycle trips every year since 1991. The Biglerville house is, by far, the nicest and most enjoyable place we have ever stayed in. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Curtis, for your hospitality and for making a great vacation even better! John, Hardy, Tom, and Dave.

Wonderfully remodeled farmhouse tucked among the rolling hills near Gettysburg. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of country life….you’ll love this well appointed rental away from city lights and hustle! We used it as a base point for jaunts to Philadelphia, Hershey ( I don’t recommend) and Gettysburg.

What a fantastic place to use as your home base while you explore Gettysburg and the surrounding area. The house is situated in the country, a short drive to Gettysburg along some beautifully winding roads. Its location is quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the front porch, enjoying the scenery and calmness.Inside, the house is fully renovated and modern with an awesome kitchen and dining room, big bathrooms (love the barn door on the main-floor bathroom), a spacious and comfy living room and three good-sized bedrooms.Communication with the owners was first-rate from the outset and arriving and leaving was effortless. If you don't mind a short drive into town, I couldn't imagine a better place to stay, short-term or long-term.
