This was a visit back to my hometown for a family funeral. The location was perfect with Amish buggies passing by frequently. The road in front of the house was great for walking with a one year-old and a 90-year-old. Very quiet. The fold out couch Was not acceptable for sleeping, but I have been assured by management and the cleaning service that it has been replaced. There were some other small issues that were immediately tended to with a minimum of fuss. I highly recommend this location and would stay again.

Plenty of space and privacy for our group of 7, including in-laws and teenage cousins. We stayed for White Out weekend, so really only slept, showered and headed out early for long days. About a 45 minute drive from campus thru gorgeous hills and scenery. Very quiet space in Amish country. The downstairs floor smelled musty upon arrival since there had been a recent power outage, but the caretaker was very communicative and helpful.

Five friends and I booked this listing as a meeting point from our homes. The price was right, the area picturesque, enough bathrooms, beds and space for all of us to gather or have alone time. We shared many laughs in the sunroom over games and coffee. We went hiking, to Shy Bear and Brookmere winery. Highly recommend all venues and this listing!

Thank you Rebecca for choosing our location for a friend’s weekend together. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Mountain House. I loved “sharing laughs and coffee in the sunroom” and wish you many more good times together.
This was an amazing week for my family. Plenty to do around the area and the house was perfect. What a location, i wasn't sure at first but it turned out amazing
