Our family really enjoyed staying altogether in the Millard mansion. Plenty of space for everyone and lots of opportunity to catch up and enjoy being together.
Beautiful home. Very clean. Rooms great size. TV connections poor on second floor. AC not working. 2nd floor got very uncomfortable to sleep. Couldn't open windows. We were provided fans. Kitchen was great but venting above stove very poor. Ended up using our own crockpots do to it being to warm in the house to use the oven. Was looking forward to cooking in this kitchen. Listed contact was incorrect & took over a week of emails & calls to get any response. Couldn't spend time outside without a cat wanting our food. Family member allergic to cat and was not told of cat on property. Tried to contact said person about it & no response.

We recently stayed at this truly unique property with 11 people (6 adults and 5 children) while celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday. The dining room was equally impressive, with a big table that comfortably fit all of us for family meals. The mansion is historic, not shiny and modern, and that’s part of its charm. It’s important to go in with the mindset that you’re staying in an old, character-filled home rather than a brand-new build. Some things reflected that—for example, the bathrooms are ready for an update. The second-floor bathroom, which serves all the rooms on that level, had a few things not working properly. Also, there’s no washer or dryer on-site, so something to be aware of if you need one during your stay. One downside during our trip was that the previous guests had broken the elevator, and unfortunately the part needed to repair it wouldn’t arrive until after our stay. This wasn’t the owner’s fault, but it d
