  • Summer golf trip in Poconos


    Great house. Great location. Basement was perfect for hanging out. Loved hanging out at the fire pit. Owners were great to deal with. Great communication and everything was as promised. Minor note (my problem note there’s) make sure you pay attention to guest list for getting into the community. Security was tough but they should be. Loved the house and location. Thanks

  • Beautiful house


    We loved staying in this gorgeous house. Was roomy and clean and comfortable with so many amenities. My only complaint was the jacuzzi not working. The property owners were very helpful and available with any questions or problems.

  • Great house


    Great house. In a very nice area. Close to everything. Lots of space for all. Beds were comfortable. Basement was very cool. Only reason it wasn’t a five star was because the hot tub wasn’t working and that is one of the things we look for when picking a place so to hear it wasn’t working 4 days before we got there, was a disappointment.

    There was no heat for the entire stay. The propane tank, which fuse the heat was empty the day we got there, and the next day when it was filled, the heat still did not work because the furnace was not active cold air was blowing whenever we had the furnace on and we left it on for hours to warm up. We did not sleep there the second night because the first night we slept in winter jackets. This was the worst experience I ever had renting. I need a full refund because the home owner broke the law by not supplying heat to us on 20° days. We must be taken care of after such an awful experience and the weekend we looked forward to completely ruined.

  • First bad review I have ever written.


    This property has its pros and cons. I will start with the bad because there is more of it. First of all there was worn dirty underwear in one of the bedrooms(the one I happen to be using) Secondly the check in process. Called the property manager to get the code for the lock box and he basically said "it's in one of the emails I can't get it for you right now" was dismissive and not helpful. So I needed to drive to the edge of the community to get service to scroll through 6 weeks of 10+ emails to find it. There was no welcome book, guest book, menus from local places, anything. The house was just empty in that sense and had a not pleasant smell. Third the wifi. I do not understand why the wifi password isn't posted ANYWHERE in the house. The service is HORRIBLE so after you finally get in the house you realize you want to connect to the internet but you have to go back to the gate to get service in order to scroll through emails again to get the password. Fourth con goes to the dishes and basement for being dirty. Dishes in cabinets were clearly not clean and the floor in the basement was like a frat house, sticky, gross, not cleaned at all. Fifth the drains because they don't drain. Showers filled up with water after 2 minutes. Called the property manager about these complaints but couldn't get an answer. Called the secondary number and was told there was Draino under the counter. I'm sorry but I did not spend 2600 dollars to be asked to fix the thing myself. Sixth the smoke detector was thrown in a kitchen drawer not hooked up to the house. Seventh there was ONE yes ONE roll of paper towels and only about 5 rolls of toilet paper in the entire 3 bathroom house. 10+ people for a weekend and you can't stock up paper products? I have spent 1/20 of the money and gotten better amenities. Eighth the water in the shower went ice cold if you use it more than once an hour. Ninth every single bed squeaks loudly with every little movement. Tenth the house while very nice isn't equipped with much, no cable TV in main living area 1 more in basement and that's pretty much it for entertainment. 11th and final con was they only give you 8 passes to the beach/pool so if you go with more than 8 people(like I did) you will get kicked out of those areas(they are strict) The pros have more to do with the area the gated community is very secure and nice, the private beach before we got kicked off was fun, and the size of the house worked well for our big group.

We have addressed these problems with them and they have committed to being more thorough in the future, although this was an isolated event for them with us. We’re sorry you went through so much trouble with the welcome email we sent you. Future guests can be aware that this is the only information available so we thank you for bringing this to our attention. The previous guest to your stay lost two passes and it wasn’t possible to replace them until later, but there are ten now, and we’re sorry for how this affected your group. The pool has never kicked anyone out in the past and we’re surprised that this happened, so we weren’t as concerned about missing the two passes for that reason. Thanks for traveling with us.
