Just the perfect location for us in Winchester Bay. We’ve RV’d and done the hotel- but this was so much easier, more space, comfy beds, tall hot shower, kitchen with lots of spices, separate living room with TV… we cooked crabs just out the back door. Grill for steaks! Just a couple blocks off the bay… and away from those brutal winds over at Windy Cove.
Excellent. Great location. Super host.
We would stay again.
We didn't know a thing about Winchester Bay, but decided to go to the coast to get out of the smokey Central Oregon air and found this gem of a spot originally due to its economic value. What a stellar spot for our family of 4 plus our dog. It had everything we needed from immaculate beds and linens to all the home comforts of kitchenware you needed and plenty of room for all of us. We were happily impressed. The place was spotless and located easily in walking distance to the local restaurants and harbor. We are indeed NOT sand dune ATV'ers as a lot of the visitors seemed to share this hobby, but we spent our days at the beach simply located about 2 miles away. Additionally, we checked out a wharf where people were crabbing and hiked around Lake Marie, an easy mile that also lead to the dunes. We were there for just 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this community and will absolutely recommend this accommodation. Plus, the whimsical paintings on the outside and wizard statue was quite the curiosity, another fun touch to an Oregon Coastal vacation rental. Lastly, the rental company that we booked this through were super communicative and helpful. Our dog also says she would go back, just like us.
Small but it did what we needed.
This apartment was super cute and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. It was quiet and cozy.
