  Pretty nice little cabin. Needs Iron Board and iron tho wrinkled clothes out of suitcase no bueno. Dryer did not work and washing machine only washed in HOT water so that was a wrinkle inducer! (Even tho we selected COLD water wash.) Views were stunning! No barbeque either probably insurance issue. I would rent this upper level again just for the views. 21 stairs up was worth it tho.

  The place is nice. This was the second time I have rented it. What really bothered and disappointed me was the out of order note on the dryer. It says "sorry for the inconvenience.. . ...A service order is in and it will be fixed soon." Since I rented the exact place last summer I know that sign has been on that dryer for at least a year. So " a service order is in and it will be repaired soon" is a lie. Let me be clear, I really didn't mind not having use of the washer and dryer but it bothers me deeply when I am lied to in a business deal. If you are not going to repair the dryer please replace the current sign with an honest one, simply state, "out of order". I have a picture of the note on the dryer but I do not see a way to attach it. I would appreciate a response from Vrbo.

  Due to the nature of this review, we'd like to take a moment to provide context and clarification for other guests who may read it. The dryer has since been repaired and is working properly but we felt this review also warranted a proper explanation.
  
  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and we can appreciate your frustration. We have been just as frustrated dealing with GE Appliances trying to get the machine repaired or replaced under warranty. Unfortunately, the machine was defective when it arrived new in February 2022. We'll spare you the details, but we've spent more than a year going back and forth with GE with 5 tech service visits, multiple parts ordered from their manufacturer in China with 2-3 month lead times, etc.
  
  We do apologize if you felt the "out of service" note on the dryer was misleading. Initially the note stated the dryer "will be repaired soon" because we honestly believed it would be. We never could have guessed we'd have to deal with this nightmare ordeal with GE. The note WAS updated to provide additional directions and access information for guests staying in this unit to use our Guest Laundry facilities on site. Given that we provided guests with directions for alternative laundry facilities, we saw no reason to modify the note further. We never could have anticipated that it would take more than a year for GE to get it resolved. We hope you can overlook the note and know we do care about our property and providing 5-star experiences for our guests. We hope you'll come back to enjoy the beach and forgive the oversights with the dryer note.

  We love this beach, and the upstairs unit we stayed in had an unobstructed view of the ocean. The walk down to the beach takes maybe one minute (with kids). Would highly recommend staying here!
