• Spacious and bright for our family of 8!

  We’ve stayed at this home 4 or 5 times over the years with varying numbers of our adult kids/kid-in-laws and grandkids. It’s been perfect for our growing extended family to feel some privacy and separation while still having a “family vacation”. The great room upstairs provides plenty of space and seating for dinners, games, movie nights, and hanging out. The dual decks are delightful- the lower deck stays shaded and quiet, the upper deck gets pretty warm.

  If I was building my own home, I’d want the plans for this house. It’s designed well for a larger family. Everything is in good condition, and good working order. The home isn’t brand-new, but it isn’t missing any amenities. The air conditioning is very efficient. The big windows and glass slider door let in all that morning sun and the crisp cool desert air in the mornings.

  The house is about .4 miles from the cardinal landing footbridge over the Deschutes, and 1.5 from the village. The drive to SHARC or the Village is a straight shot down Abbot, so the house has a very convenient location.

  We’ve been in touch with the owners before when we needed some help, and they responded personally, immediately, and kindly. They were wonderful. We feel more like guests in this house than vacation renters.

  Every year our family gets together for an extended weekend to enjoy different locations. Sunriver never disappoints and this home was perfect. It is spacious enough that we could all be together without being on top of each other. It has a large selection of games ans puzzles thatbwe could enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked with various pots, pans & spices, however since you never know what might be available i would suggest bringing your own. It has an ample amount of pots pans & dishes. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. The host, John was very helpful & accommodating. Very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend 25 Yellow Pine.

  House is a great layout for the 11 of us. Just needs vacuuming behind doors and beds. The dried flowers all over are just dust collectors. I also wish the quilts on beds were duvet covers and getting washed each time. They are not which is hard for a clean person like me. A lot of the kitchen utensils were broken (can opener) or missing. It just needs a refresh. But overall, it was a good stay.

  We really enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of parking. Not to mention all the space. The kids enjoyed the SHARC passes. Lots of core memories were created!
