    It was a nice family get away. The house was nice and taken care of. The only thing that didn't work was a bike or 2, and we were warned about this before our visit. Lots of room for the kids to play and a really nice tv to watch the races on.

  • Good House, Lousy Maintenance

    - Phoned John a few days before our arrival in order to request early check-in. John said he would consult the schedule and would get back to me. He didn't. I followed up with John the day before our arrival and left a message asking to reply to my request for early check-in. No answer then and no answer ever.

    - Upon checking-in at 4:00 p.m., there was a notice by the HOT-TUB advising that it had been emptied and filled again and that it would take a minimum 12 hours to reach the desired temperature. This meant NO HOT-TUB on day one.

    - Had some difficulties at first with the pair of reclining chairs. In the process we found a very dirty floor underneath the chairs, with scraps of food which may attract rodents.

    - The fan in particular in the living room appeared to be very dirty and we avoided turning it on for fear of having the dirt flying all over the living room and dining room.

    - The top of the bookshelf /TV /Music piece of furniture also was dirty and dusty.

    - The carpet on the living room leaves much to be desired in terms of cleanliness.

    - To be honest, the house is well appointed. After some 38 years renting houses in Sunriver I can claim to have some experience. TV, stereo, furniture, kitchen equipment, all above expectations and superior to the norm, however, under present conditions I would not rent this unit again due to the poor maintenance and disregard for basics of courtesy by John, the local man in charge.

    - In all of our interactions with you, we always ensure to maintain a professional and kind manner. We made sure to respond immediately to your early check-in request by sending a text message to the listed phone number on the booking. We gladly informed you that you could check-in at 2pm without any additional cost.
    - We value the health and safety of our guests while using the hot tub. We take the extra step of rigorously testing it after each guest check-out and before the arrival of the next guest.
    - We regularly clean and dust the fan blades, but in our high desert location, back-to-back bookings and early check-in requests can sometimes pose challenges for our housekeepers. In addition, we've communicated the cleaning concerns to our housekeeping team.
    - We've just had all the carpets professionally deep-cleaned. With back-to-back bookings and early check-ins, we recognize that it can be quite a challenging to clean the carpets in between bookings.
    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you had during your stay, and we want to share that we've resolved these issues. We truly do all we can to deliver an extraordinary stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  • Great house for our large group

    The house was very clean and comfortable. We found it exactly as advertised. Instead of Christmas gifts of more “stuff” for my adult children and their significant others this year, I rented this house for a family weekend of making memories. There were 11 of us total. Beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was as well. Our only 2 complaints were that we did have to go buy some more trash bags (there were only 2 provided) since with such a large group, unfortunately we created quite a bit of trash in 3 days, and the second one was that we could only find one baking sheet. However, we did not consider these to be anything that detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

    Other than the dishwasher not working, everything else was good. The place was clean and quiet and just what we needed.
