Not what we expected
3/5 It wasn’t as hoped. We arrived to find black mold in multiple bedrooms and an overwhelming mildew smell. It seeped into our hair and clothes. This was a big trip for our family so we had no choice but to try to clean the mold ourselves and stay. I let the guest contact know about this and other cleanliness issues and the response was also not what I hoped. The house was large and fit our group, but the house is in need of some care and the mold is unacceptable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We followed up with the owner, who would like to address the following:
- The home was cleaned and prepared prior to arrival on January 28, and an additional deep cleaning has since been started, with completion expected shortly. Carpets are also scheduled to be professionally cleaned in the coming days to ensure the home meets cleanliness and comfort standards.
- We requested photos during your stay to better understand the concerns, but did not receive any at that time. Even so, your feedback has been shared with the cleaning team for additional attention to the areas mentioned.
- Regarding pests, no signs of active issues were found during the most recent service visit. Preventative treatments are routinely placed throughout the home as a precaution, which is common for properties in coastal environments.
We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, as guest feedback helps us continue improving the experience for future stays.5/5 We loved our stay. Very pet friendly, water bowls and stand near the kitchen. The rooms accommodated all of our family members well. There are quite a few steps which didn't bother us but if there is difficulty with stairs, it might but be the best fit. This house accommodated 15 of us easily and the warm outdoor shower was great to rinse off the sand. We went onto the roof and enjoyed the ocean view every night.
