  • Oregon coast


    The pictures of this home were as shown but made it seem cleaner than it actually was. When we arrived the door handle to the garage was broken, the top of the refrigerator was not cleaned, the bathroom fans had a thick layer of dirt/dust on them so we had to vacuum and wipe them off. The mattresses were very thin and uncomfortable to sleep on and the master bedroom mattress was sunken in on one side and made it very uncomfortable (almost impossible) for my family members to sleep on. Luckily we brought an air mattress for our other guest so at least they got a good nights sleep. Also, the sheets looked worn out and started to have piling on them and the blankets were very rough, and pillows could be better. There is a small yard that was convenient for pets but we noticed there was a space they could escape from that should be fixed. Overall I would not stay here again until these issues are addressed and fixed making it more enjoyable for a stay.. especially for the high price we payed for only 2 nights.

    - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we apologize for the bed. As we value the condition of our home and furniture, we immediately repaired the bed and in addition, we fixed the garage door handle as well.
    - Communication is highly important to us and we maintain consistent availability. We encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right - we would have been happy to help but we were never notified of any issues you mentioned.
    - We value the cleanliness of our home and guests can rest assured that we completed a thorough deep clean and in the process, we also replaced the bed sheets.

    The kitchen was poorly stocked and did not have enough dishware or utensils to accommodate the six of us, let alone the 12 it advertises to accommodate. The doorhandle to the garage was broken, which made the door hard to open; curtains in two of the bedrooms were falling off, which made them hard to close. We were only provided with one additional roll of toilet paper; when we called and requested more, we only received two more for a four day stay with six ladies. We were only provided with one roll of paper towels. There was an old coffee filter with coffee left in the coffee maker. There were towels and linens left in the dryer from a previous guests’ stay. And while a charcoal grill is advertised, it had not been cleaned in so long, we were uncomfortable with putting any food on the grill.

    The house has a great layout and set up for larger groups, but the between guest clean up felt very questionable and minimal.

    - Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. As a homeowner, I aim to provide a comfortable, well-equipped property for my guests. However, I'm disappointed to hear several aspects of your stay did not meet expectations.
    - I have since inspected the kitchen and can confirm it is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and silverware for the maximum number of guests.
    - Regarding the garage and curtains, I apologize - any broken items should have been reported by my cleaning crew so I could address them promptly. I will reinforce this responsibility with them going forward.
    - The barbecue should have been cleaned before your arrival. I have provided clearer cleaning instructions to avoid this oversight in the future.
    - Five rolls do meet the standard for six guests, but I'm happy to provide more upon request.
    - While most guests have positive experiences, I realize I fell short in some areas for your visit. Please know I have taken steps to correct the issues you raised and will work diligently to improve across the board.
    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  • Trial. We had a great time.


    It didn't appear to be very clean. We did not have a pet and the carpet smelled like pet urine. We had a great time. It was a trial vacation with the family. Nice location.
