• Everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Bend

  We loved the location of this home. It was about a 2 minute walk to Starbucks, 4 minutes to the grocery store and an easy walk (maybe 45 minutes) to multiple downtown locations. It was easy to get into the unit, lock it up, park the car etc. The place was very comfortable and had so much art work and live plants! There were conveniences like a flashlight for our walks at night and a book on some things to do in Bend. We would definitely stay here again.

• DO NOT RENT!!!!! Many other better rentals in town.

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! PICTURES DO NOT SHOW THE PORTABLE MAKESHIFT A/C IN MAIN BEDROOM WITH LARGE HOSE GOING THROUGH WINDOW, SOUNDS LIKE A GENERATOR RUNNING SO LOUD NO ONE COULD SLEEP IN THAT ROOM. BLIND WOULDN'T COVER WINDOW FOR PRIVACY. GUEST BEDROOM HAD NO A/C AND WAS VERY HOT. LIVING ROOM HAD A SMALL WINDOW UNIT THAT BARELY COOLED LIVING ROOM. KITCHEN HAD STINCH OF GARBAGE LEFT IN TRASH CAN BY OWNER. LOTS OF DEAD INSECTS IN THE BATHROOM TUB/SHOWER. LIVING ROOM SLIDING GLASS DOOR NEEDED 2 MORE CURTAINS, ONLY HAD ENOUGH TO BARELY COVER ONE OF THE SLINDING DOORS, ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVACY. KITCHEN WINDOW FULL OF PLANTS WE HAD TO MOVE IN ORDER TO CLOSE THE BLIND. WE BOOKED FOR 5 NIGHTS AND GOT OUT AFTER THE FIRST NIGHT. WE ARRIVED SATURDAY EVENING LATE AND SUNDAY MORNING THE FIRST THING THE OWNER DID WAS TEXT US AND ASKED HOW HIS PLANTS WERE DOING AND IF WE COULD WATER THEM. THIS WAS SO RIDICULIOUS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE. WE LEFT AND ASKED IF HE COULD WORK WITH US ON A PARTIAL REFUND AND HE ABSOLUTELY REFUSED EVEN AFTER US GETTING THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INVOLVED. THIS OWNER SHOULD BE HONEST IN HIS LISTING SHOWING PICTURES OF THE MAKESHIFT A/C UNIT, ETC. AND SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM VRBO. WORD TO THE WISE, BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING A RENTAL. YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE WHEN THE OWNERS ARE DISHONEST AND CHEAT THE RENTERS. WORDS FOR THE OWNER, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR CHEATING HARD WORKING OLDER PEOPLE THAT ONLY WANTED A CLEAN, DECENT, QUIET PLACE TO STAY. HOTELS IN AREA WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER CHOICE!!!

  "Brian, I have done the following since your stay last August
  -Installed brand new Toshiba air conditioning units for the bedrooms and a 14,000 BTU unit for the living room.
  -bedrooms and living room have new curtains and blinds and provide complete privacy.
  - The home is professionally cleaned sanitized and maintained between each guest. All communications with you were positive during your stay no mention of any concerns Everything is great and then we are leaving. If given the opportunity, hopefully, I could’ve resolved any and all of your concerns and made your experience more enjoyable.
  
  It is my priority and goal to make sure that every guest has a stay that exceeds their expectations."

  Great location, quiet neighborhood aand close to everything. Clean and well stocked. Communication with the owner was amazing!

  It is a very nice house with really nice artwork on the walls. It was less than a mile from my sons home. Due to work issues we had to leave two days sooner than we planned. The home needs a few minor repairs but that didn't keep us from enjoying the home. I would like to rent it again when I return.
