The house itself needs a deep cleaning. We found dead bugs inside the cabinets and behuing and beside furniture.
The jets in the hot tub weren't working properly, the next morning (when it got daylight) I pulled off the cover to find there were leaves and twigs in the hot tub. The intake was so stopped up with leaves it could not cycle properly. I got a brush and removed the Debris. We never got back into it. Even the water was cloudy in it. Also, the front door did not work, we called and texted the owner at 3:15, she finally responded at 9:08 telling us to go through the garage. (which we had already done) THANK GOD the interior garage door was not locked. We would have had a 6 hour wait OUTSIDE if it had been locked. We also found numerous windows inside that were unlocked. When were outside we heard people talking on the other side of the fence, (the wooded side) when we looked around the corner, we found 2 men (very unkept and probably homeless) sitting on a bench next to the fence.
The location of the house was great, but it could use some better communication with the owner and some much-needed cleaning and Maintenace.

Hi Rick, thank you for taking the time to share your review. We greatly appreciate your feedback, and we would like to share some insights from the homeowner:
-We arranged for a hot tub repair due to an issue with the motor. To prevent potential damage to the glass storm door, preemptive instructions were provided to guests, advising them to utilize the garage entrance for convenient unloading, bypassing the need to navigate a lengthy sidewalk with their belongings.
-Due to professional commitments, maintaining a silent phone during work is necessary. Nonetheless, we actively made efforts to communicate and address the concerns about the hot tub. While the hot tub was functional at the start of your stay, it seemed to develop issues later. Additionally, bugs might have entered through the sunroom due to the changing weather if the door was left open.
-It appears there might have been a misunderstanding regarding the instructions to use the garage entrance. The door was intentionally left unlocked to facilitate entry, but an issue arose with the front door when attempting to reset the code.
-No individuals in need of housing have been observed by us, our cleaning staff, neighbors, or any other guests. The property abuts a 200-acre nature reserve featuring trees and ponds.
-Instructions have been relayed to the cleaning team to ensure a thorough deep cleaning, by our request.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests as evidenced in all other reviews.
We stay here every year that we come to Tulsa for the Arabian National Championship Show. We love it.

Some friends and I were in town for an event that put us in town for 5 nights. The house was close to the event site and after long days, it was cozy to come home to. Everything was just as described. If I ever come back to Tulsa I would certainly stay here again.

We loved the house! We are not used to the cold weather we encountered in Tulsa, but coming “home” to this house made it all ok!
Property is unique and seems to be decorated by an older person. Upstairs has less of an "old" ambience. The home is in an excellent location. It is in the heart of Tulsa and close to many things, yet it is quiet. It gives the feel of seclusion. Partner and I loved it. The hot tub was an attraction for us. The gas fireplace a cozy bonus. I can see how it could easily accommodate a number of people. Only thing to be forewarned about is the step up and down between kitchen and living room. Main floor is not all one level so watch your step at first. We had a bit of an issue with house code to door not working when we arrived. A relatively quick response and all was well. An excellent stay/great value.
