Peace and quiet
5/5 Thankful they allowed us to rent with such short notice. Very accomadating. Great place to stop and stay for a relaxing quiet getaway. Loved everything about the cabin. Kids enjoyed finding/seeing different creatures (cows, deer, rabbits, insects, etc.). Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the cabin. Oklahoma is beautiful!
Girl's Weekend in Doughtery
5/5 Traveled from Ft Worth, Northern Oklahoma and OKC area to meet for a girls weekend. There were 8 of us and plenty of room. Weather was perfect and the fall colors were shining. Nothing fancy but we knew that going in. We took a short drive to Sulphur to watch the OSU football game in the Artesian. The nearest grocery store is in Davis but Doughtery does have a convenience store with ice and pop and a few emergency items. Great weekend with great fiends.
Beautiful Property and Area
5/5 We enjoyed our stay - away from the city lights, traffic and noise. Great hiking. It rained on us most of the time we were there but it gave us the opportunity for great family time. Cabin was clean - although we did change the air return filter since the one in the vent was very dirty. Luckily we found a new filter in the cabin. Recommend this cabin if you want to get away from it all. The only "wish" is that the fireplace work - we were told not to use it due to their insurance policy. The cabin caretaker Denny was great - we called him a couple of time with questions and he was always available and helpful.
beautiful property and area
5/5 It was our first time staying in a cabin and everyone loved it. My daughters wanted to stay and live there. I recommend this place, it is beautiful and the surroundings just make it so peaceful. Just glad we were able to book on such short notice. Cabin is clean and very well maintained. I was surprised at how well equipped it is. We had smores on our last night there. It was so much fun.
