  Booked this property for OSU family weekend. Entering the home you were hit with a very strong musty odor, not a good first impression. After returning to the property from OSU football game, we had a chance to check the house out. The house had NOT been recently cleaned; dusty, cobwebs in every window, dead bugs in corners, stained couch, stained dining room rug, counter tops sticky, a shaver left in the shower. We ended up booking a different house with another host at 11:00 at night. It was disappointing and the musty odor was OVERWHELMING! This property is managed by a third part company, Evolve. We contacted Evolve and asked for a refund for 2 of the 3 nights. They were NOT accommodating. I recommend to always take photos and videos so you have proof.

  From the owner: We are sincerely sorry that our home did not meet your expectations. We strive to correct any issues that our guests have during their stay and encourage our guests to reach out the moment that something is amiss. Unfortunately, you chose to vacate the property after using the shower and communicated your issues after vacating. 
  
  -We offer complimentary shavers, and they are located in the bathroom cupboard. 
  -We take cleanliness seriously, and the home was indeed cleaned the day before your arrival. We have a separate manager walk through the home after the cleaning crew with a checklist to ensure our standards are being met. They found no stains on the kitchen carpet or couch before your arrival or after your departure. 
  -We have a standing contract with a local pest service to which the home is treated inside and out quarterly. After you vacated, our manager looked the house over top to bottom and found a couple of dead bugs/cobwebs under the wood stove and one dead bug behind a bookshelf that had somehow been pulled away from the wall. They also found cobwebs in a 12-foot-high windowsill. We do apologize for this inconvenience; however, Oklahoma has an exceptional variety of bugs and pests, and unfortunately, a small few may find their way into the home.
  -As to the musty odor, Oklahoma is an incredibly humid state, and it had been raining prior to your stay. The home does have central heat and air. We monitor the humidity closely via the Nest thermostat and do our best to maintain an indoor humidity below 50%.

  Overall a great experience and would definitely consider staying again. Very convenient to OSU. Spacious house with plenty of room for parking. Well stocked with updated appliances including washer and dryer. The primary bedroom is spacious with a comfortable bed. WiFi was easy to use and stable with smart TVs. The owner was very responsive and made check in and check out very easy.
