Our family of five had such a wonderful time at the Black Fork Cabin 1. The property itself was peaceful, welcoming, and picturesque – with cows and horses roaming freely and trails beckoning our little adventurers to explore.
We absolutely loved meeting our gracious and thoughtful host who offered to give us a tour of the property on our first day. What fun it was to see the wildlife as well as a gorgeous sunset as we drove through the hilly terrain. The trails on the property feature some cute surprises that were especially fun for our kids to discover.
The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt cozy and clean – a place we all enjoyed hanging out. Everyone slept well in the beds in the loft area; the air conditioners kept the place perfectly cool; the mini fridge was big enough for the food supplies we had packed for our four-day weekend; the game cabinet was loaded with a variety of board games; the porch and fire pit area was a restful spot where my husband and I could enjoy coffee or read while the kids had a great time chasing little frogs and grasshoppers.
We definitely recommend this cabin and we hope for the opportunity to visit again!
From the owner: "Whitney, Chris, Adalyn, Cade, and Ty, it was an absolute pleasure hosting your sweet family, and I truly enjoyed meeting you all! I had as much fun or more than you guys! Thanks for letting me share our little part of the world with you! I do hope you have the opportunity to visit again!"
We had a very peaceful stay. Tammy is a wonderful host. She went out of her way to show us the trial and a nearby wonderful view point in the mountains. She was also very friendly and very helpful. This place has a fishing pond on site and we had fun try fishing in there. You wake up in the morning and you see Cows and Horses just outside the Cabin. One of my kid accidently had an injury and Tammy helped with an appointment to the hospital. A great stay and friendly people and we would be certainly visiting again

From the owner: "Thank you to your beautiful family for choosing us! I so enjoyed meeting you all and sharing our little bit of heaven with you!"
This cute little cabin was a great place to completely disconnect from the business of the day to day and enjoy the beautiful mountains and scenery. The hosts were so kind and accommodating! I would recommend this little get away to anyone that needs a nice ‘reset’.

This property is perfect for a weekend to literally "get away" from it. There is not much close by, so take stuff to cook on the grill. The kitchen is small but manageable with some necessities in there like cookware and dishware and a convection oven that I baked a whole birthday cake in. A great place to hide from reality for a few days if you're into quiet and seclusion. We really liked it.
