• This home has a lot of potential.

  The home was clean, but could really use a loveseat in the living room or at least another chair. Additionally, the bedrooms could really use a nightstand. The bedrooms only have the beds in them. The grass needs to be cut. I couldn’t let my dog go out in the back because the grass was taller than she is. Mind you, she only weighs 4 pounds, but it needs to be cleared out before guests can safely use the area. It just felt quite empty compared to the many other places we had stayed. We arrived late at night because we had nearly a 12 hour drive and there was no toilet paper. My husband had to go to the one little convenience store that was open in town at that time to get some for us. Like the title says, the house has a lot of potential. It is very cute, but it needs a little attention and the areas mentioned above. I would gladly stay here again because of the convenience of the location to my husband‘s family, especially if these issues are dealt with properly.

• Basics Lacking!

  House cleaner and yard mower were still here at checkin, couldn’t get in to the house until 30 min past time! Once inside we found that the sheets on the big bed had not been changed! The bathroom was disgusting! The shower, toilet rim, sink basin and floor had not been cleaned so I cleaned it myself with supplies I had to go out and buy! We were here for a wedding that I was preparing the meal for! The silverware was not clean, I had to wash everything before I used it! I put a brisket in the oven and the oven would shut off about every hour and a half! We looked for a users manual but there was not one that we could find! I ended up having to get up every hour and a half throughout the night to restart the oven! Luckily the burners on top worked properly! There is no microwave as was advertised! Coffee pot was supplied but the coffee can was empty! Living room had very minimal seating, “only a sleeper sofa”! Big area to add more seating! There is a TV, but no antenna, cable service, or streaming device, No Wi-Fi! Spoke with the contact person and he resides several states away! He has a good basic house that needs much more attention to detail and cleanliness!

  We were very disappointed and would not recommend this place!
