Perfectly Relaxing
5/5 What a wonderful stay we had as a family celebrating my daughters 21st birthday. The house was very inviting and had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous, the fishing pond provided a lot of fun … several fish were caught ( and released), the porch chimenea provided a wonderful night of roasting marshmallows. Louis the host was exceptionally polite. We as a family will definitely be back. Thank you Steelman House.

Great location

Excellent Stay
5/5 The property was secluded, well maintained and welcoming. Very clean and cozy with everything you need in the kitchen and for outdoor grilling and fires. The beds were comfy and loved having the air conditioning in each room. The children were excited to ring the enormous “dinner” bell and play cornhole. Overall a very hospitable place. Thank you!

Family weekend escape
5/5 We booked the trip several weeks in advance. Our guest count changed since booking I reached out to the house contact to make sure it was ok and he was very nice and accommodating to the change. We were able to check in early. The house was very well kept. We cooked in the house and it had all the necessary kitchen items. They had everything for the grill outside like charcoal and tongs but we did take our own since we didn’t think it would be provided. The bedrooms all had their own ac so we were able to keep the temperature to our liking. The beds were comfortable and bedsheets were very well kept. The restrooms had very nice showers I’m often skeptical about showers but I didn’t feel concern about these they look pretty new and clean. My party enjoyed their stay and it was so quiet and peaceful. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit area. We took some hammocks and were allowed to hang them. Lots of shaded areas had a nice breeze flowing though. My party really enjoyed themselves. The house was great and the house contact was excellent very tentative and resourceful. We definitely recommend this place, it was definitely what we needed and much more than we expected!
