I’ll start with the house itself. It was very clean and rustic and provided all the basic needs. High marks for the house. Now the location. If you are wanting a woodsy, secluded experience, this is NOT your place. The photos made it look isolated, but it is not. It sits right on a main highway, with an auto parts store/hair salon right in front of it. There is an occupied home just a few feet away. We met them as they were coming and going and they were friendly enough, but watched every move we made. In summary, the house was clean and comfortable but due to the location, it was like staying in town. I was disappointed that our quiet, secluded weekend stay ended up being just a house in town with some trees around it.

My daughters and I stayed here for the weekend while we visited some friends. The cabin was really clean and the hosts provided everything that we needed. A nice little get away.
