  All I can say is NO, this place should not be able to be a vacation rental, it is nasty. Nasty . We rented for 3 days left after one. Spiders, cockroachs and mice, the carpet is so nasty looks like it came from a gas station bathroom. Gross, gross is all I can say. Do NOT rent this. The pictures they show on line is NOT the same. They are from a long long time ago . It is a run down shack now.

• BED BUGS

  Two weeks before we came there was a review about bed bugs I wish I would have seen! I took video & pictures of the bed bugs & sent them to the owner. We didn’t even stay one night because luckily we found them before sleeping there. Owner was very nice & apologized & issued us a refund. I would not stay there until this issue gets resolved. Also, there is a hole in the tub under the mat that needs to be fixed.

Additionally, all linens and bedding have been washed in hot water and dried twice in a hot dryer to further eliminate any potential concerns. It's reassuring to note that the last guest did not encounter any issues.

  -I understand the concern, and I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience caused as I have experienced dealing with bedbugs and know it's not a good time.
  - After personally evaluating the property, there were no signs of bedbugs, it's possible to have encountered chiggers or mosquitoes, but I assure you there were no bedbugs.
  -I found a full box of trash bags in the cabinet beside the trash can, along with two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.

• Weekend get away

  We had an amazing time! The house was perfect for all of us! Our host was so sweet and very accommodating! It had everything we needed! It was right on the water! We will definitely be back!

• Great location - needs attention

  The location of the property was fantastic, a short walk down the stairs to the water/dock was amazing. The kids had a blast playing in the water and fishing off the dock. The area brought out tons of wild life and the area was awesome. The property had the basic needs you would want from a house!

  The property itself is in need of some significant attention. Much like other reviews it was very dirty, spiderwebs, large spiders and other bugs all over the interior of the property to include the bedding. Definitely seems like no cleaning is done prior to stay.
