  • Total Disappointment

    We arrived after the check-in time and could not access the cabin. We called the contact number and only a voicemail. After an hour, we finally called Evolve, and after 30 minutes of back-and-forth communication and verification, we learned the code sent to us was incorrect! I had my 80-year-old Mother sitting in the car the entire time. It's hot outside, and we did not have access to bathroom facilities. Additionally, we learned the wifi was inoperable once we had access to go in. The signal was weak at best, and there was no watching television. At night, the backyard and porch area had no lights. The light bulbs had burned out and had not been replaced. The entire house was dusty as if no one had been there in a while. I was pretty disappointed with my stay.

  • Very well equipped

    This was our first time renting a cabin, and our experience was excellent!

    They really surprised us in the way that they had a fully equipped kitchen and everything that you needed in the cabin from games to cleaning products.

    The beds were comfortable, and the cabin is well kept the only complaint is I felt it wasn’t deep cleaned like the fixtures were very dirty. The windows could have been more clean to enjoy the views and don’t look under the bed because there is a lot of dust which means they have not swept under there and, at least three of the bed had stains on the comforters.

    But that should not be a reason to stir you away from renting this cabin. Just take your own blankets as we did and Lysol everything as we did. Other than that it is absolutely beautiful al covered in wood. A true cabin experience

  • No Lake Access

    The first thing we noticed about our cabin was that there was no lake access or lake view. The website needs to update the pictures so that people can get a real-time view of the cabin. There weren't any string lights hanging outside as shown on the website. The code given to us didn't work and the refrigerator leaked. The yard wasn't maintained and there wasn't a walking trail.

    - We sincerely apologize for the discrepancies you encountered during your stay. We recently switched management companies due to previous issues with maintenance and upkeep.
    - Regarding the string lights, we were informed by the previous company that they would be replaced, but unfortunately, this seems to have been overlooked, and we will address the issue promptly.
    - We understand the frustration with the code confusion and are actively working to ensure clear and accurate communication moving forward.
    - Regarding the yard maintenance, we have gravel throughout the yard and surrounded by pine trees, which is intentional for a natural aesthetic. However, we will ensure that any necessary upkeep is promptly addressed.
    - It's important to clarify that lake access is not available at any cabin in Broken Bow, including ours, and we do not advertise it as such. Additionally, while there are walking trails in Broken Bow, they are not directly attached to our property.
    - We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We strive to provide accurate representations of our property and will take steps to ensure a more seamless experience for future guests.
    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

    The house is nice but needs some TLC. The refrigerator leaks and has broken drawers, the dishwasher racks are broken, the light over the stove is burned out, the propane grill is in BAD shape and the kitchen floor doesn’t appear to have been mopped in ages. I know this since I had to lay on the floor to at least line up the dishwasher racks to run a load.

    Be aware there are no lamps in any bedrooms and the house is super dark. There are overhead lights but shocking to have to use those to get to the bathroom at night.

    The door code was not set properly when we arrived so we were locked out for 1.5 hrs after arrival. We had no response to this from our property manager. Finally the corporate office gave us the owner’s code to get in. Just consider all this before you rent.

We were in the process of waiting for replacement items to arrive, and we regret that this impacted your experience.
    - Regarding the door code issue, we apologize for the inconvenience you faced upon arrival. We recently changed our local cleaning and maintenance crews, which led to some confusion with the door code setup. However, we're glad to inform you that this issue has been promptly corrected.
    - We would like to clarify that our records indicate that you were able to access the property by 4:30 PM, and check-in is scheduled for 4:00 PM. Therefore, I'm unsure about the discrepancy regarding the duration of time you were locked out.
    - Furthermore, we have addressed the cleanliness concerns by scheduling and completing a deep clean of the floors to ensure a more comfortable environment for our guests.
    - Regarding the absence of lamps in the bedrooms, we understand your preference for additional lighting options. While this is the first time in 5 years that anyone has mentioned this issue, we will certainly take your feedback into consideration for future improvements.
    Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We value your feedback and strive to provide a positive experience for all our guests.
    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
