Memorial weekend
4/5 We rented the house last minute. It was the only one available on Monkey Island that allowed pets, and our current lake house is being remodeled, so we were thankful to find it as we were unable to get a pet sitter booked that weekend. The home had adequate space to accommodate many people and is located on a nice quiet cove with lots of trees. Hearing all the birds was very peaceful. The kids really enjoyed the game room! The biggest issue were water leaks in the downstairs bathroom and laundry room. It was a pretty bad leak when the upstairs showers were in use. I would assume that will be repaired immedirstely. There was also no hairdryer anywhere to be found. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed the house. The deck had plenty of seating and we enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings and evenings. Check in and check out were easy and straightforward, once I located which door the keypad was on upon arrival. There’s plenty of room for parking several cars. The local property management company was very responsive.
