  This is a quiet and peaceful place to stay. We loved the fireplaces and home away from home feel. The owners were very easy to reach when needed and very friendly. Highly recommend

• Mold issue

  For people booking this, if you plan to attempt to stream anything such as a movie, this place isn't for you as the Internet is too slow (which I understand isn't probably what people who come here are looking for so the star rating isn't because of that)

  Upon checking in, the bathroom had a noticably bad smell, like something had died in there. However, we had already taken time off work and our options of going somewhere else were limited so we continued the stay. However on our last night there, we found out that the bad smell was coming from a mold covered shower mat that we had all used. We put it in the garage and notified the owner. We did not receive a response on any attempt to contact the owners

  Hi Ray, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
  – We’re so sorry about the issues you encountered. The shower mat has been thrown away and replaced, and we’ll now make it a priority to regularly check and clean under the mat to prevent this from happening again.
  – We can understand how frustrating it must have been to not receive a response. Please note that we don’t receive text messages but always respond to calls, voicemails, and emails. We’ll make sure this is clarified in the pre-stay information for future guests.
  – The internet speed in this location is a known limitation, but we’re currently exploring alternative providers to improve the connection.

  We love this place and will return again. Amenities are great and location convenient to family and friends. Host is friendly and responsive. Air is fresh and stars are bright

• Peaceful country setting

  We stayed for 4 nights. It’s a cozy cabin in the country. Very peaceful and relaxing. Easy to get to and not far from town if you need things. Kitchen and rooms are well stocked with things like pots and pans and extra blankets. We did have an issue arise with the water, a fitting on the pump broke. The owners were right on it and went well above and beyond trying to make things right and accommodating for us. We had two adults and 4 kids and the house fit us perfect.

• Peaceful Sanctuary

  This property is beautiful, very clean and in the middle of the most beautiful, green and peaceful area we have ever seen. The house is equipped with everything you need. We connected with our granddaughter by working jigsaw puzzles and talking. Mot having a tv was a great thing and not missed. This home never disappoints. We have stayed here twice and look forward to staying here again.
