Property was clean, well appointed with beds, towels, laundry & laundry supplies, everything we needed in the kitchen. Very comfortable sofas. Easy to use smart TVs, close proximity to grocery store and other shopping including pet supply shop. Nice neighbors. The backyard is not accessible from inside the home, you have to go out the side door onto the driveway and open the wood gate to enter the backyard. We would prefer direct access for the dogs, especially since this Vrbo home is on a busy front street. Overall 4 stars

Stayed here with one truck and boat, was a perfect home base for the week

This house was in a great location. There was enough parking to accommodate our 2 trucks and boats during a location fishing tournament. The neighbors were very friendly and the fenced in backyard was a great space to hang out and store our bikes for the week.

My husband and I booked this property for 14 nights to stay while working in the area and walked into an absolute dump. The listing photos are not representative of reality, which was the smell of cigarette smoke and a thick layer of dirt, dust, and stains. The backyard is trashed, so using it as the featured photo is laughable. It was a real treat to find a cigarette lighter and used dental pick under the couch in the living room.
Before driving the 14 hours from our home to Ohio, I had emailed the host asking if there was a vacuum and mop on the property as we were bringing our two dogs and wanted to make sure we could keep it as clean as possible. He never responded to that email. Clearly, cleanliness is not a priority, nor is communication. The fenced yard is also not accessible from the house; you have to go outside and open the fence door (which the fence door was broken) in order to enter. Other dog owners will understand that this is not ideal.
The vacuum there was not in good working condition, so we ended up buying one, in addition to cleaning supplies and candles to try and manage the state of the property until we could find a new place in the area.
The bedframe was lined in dust and crumbs. I immediately washed the sheets after seeing the state of everything else when we checked in and there was no mattress pad on the bed. There was an open drain in the basement that reeked of raw sewage. There was fur, hair clumps, dust, dirt, and stains everywhere – on walls, on floors and on surfaces. This level of grime takes time to accumulate.
For the two nights we stayed before finding a new place in the area, the was loud music blasting late into the night from neighboring houses and the air conditioning didn’t work. This host clearly is not prioritizing or being held accountable to the basics of being a host: CLEANLINESS.
I followed up SEVERAL times with the property management company Evolve and VRBO to write this review and it took more than a month to be sent the link to do so. VRBO and Evolve have both been sent more than 20 photos I took to depict the state of this unacceptable property. We are frequent travelers with reasonable standards. This was beyond unacceptable. Do not waste your time and money staying here.
The property was very clean. Which we have found to be lacking in some other places we have stayed in the area. The back yard having a privacy fence was a plus for us traveling with a dog so that he could have some freedom himself. The basement was finished and ready for either watching tv or playing one of the many boardgames provided is perfect for anyone with kids to teenagers. It's a short drive to restuarants, and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.
