Great House in Apple Valley for Large Group
5/5 We had a wonderful vacation at the Leather Lake House in Apple Valley. Our party had 3 little kids ages 3, 5 and 7; 2 older teenagers and 4 adults. The 3 separate floors with large bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone their space and a huge family room/dining room area for dinner and hanging out. We picked this house for its amenities and its close proximity to Mohican where we enjoyed rafting, tubing, picnicking and just playing in the low spots in the river. All the beds were comfy, nice linens and towels, a well-appointed kitchen and beautiful views. We also explored Mt. Vernon, a quaint little town not far from the house, and discovered a nice coffee shop, candy store, bookstore and the dog fountain. The littles just loved it! I would definitely recommend the Leather Lake House!

Family Weekend
5/5 This is the second year we have rented this house for a family getaway. We had a wonderful time and the weather cooperated so we could enjoy the backyard, deck and grill. The house was perfect for our three families. We plan on staying again next year.
