• Mother' day retreat with friends! - 5 families

  Ryan's rest and retreat was an amazing getaway for Mother's Day weekend for our 5 families group of friends! We loved that their was a queen/king room for each of the adult couples and plenty of room for the kids. There were plenty of sheets, pillows, blankets and towels in the house. The kids (and adults) loved the swing and swinging chairs in the mailbox living room. We even played a fun game of adults vs kids hide and seek!

  We LOVED the outdoor space! While it was a little cold to swim in the pond, we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat and fishing (life vests provided). We had a wonderful campfire and cooked over the flames. There was a storage room with all sorts of outdoor toys and games to play! Many of the families went out on the hiking trails that are mapped out for you to enjoy.

  The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils for us to cook and eat all weekend! The two dish washers were an added bonus to not have to stand and wash dishes after cooking!

  The adults favorite area was definitely the bar room where we could stay up later and play games after the kids went to sleep. We were able to use the tv to hook up group game though a computer and our phones to play. There was little to no noise in the house when we hung out there but we could easily go in and out to check on kids.

  Gracie was an amazing host! She quickly answered our questions before we came out. With her being right on the property she was able to respond quickly for the small issue we had with the air conditioning and empty the trash cans.

  If our families can ever coordinate another weekend getaway, Ryan's rest and retreat will definitely be at the top of our list!

  We had a great family stay over Christmas. The house was perfect. There was a lot to keep the teenage boys occupied and enough room to spread out. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Gracie!
