The property was clean. The location was perfect. It was close to the strip and water. Views were really nice and we enjoyed using the fire pit in the evening. The place worked really well for us and we would rent it again. This place is not a 5 star place. The handle on the fridge was duct taped, there was chipping paint and some damage to the microwave cabinet. The chair with the table had rips in the cushion. But overall these were not major issues for us and we had a great weekend staying here.

We had a large group. The house was perfect! Check in was easy, fast and hassle free. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights of our stay. House was clean and ready to go when we got there! It was within walking distance of the strip and sat back from the road just enough! We will definitely be back to this house!!!

We stayed at Beachhaven house from August 27 to August 30.We really enjoyed staying here it had 3 great bedrooms two of which had great view if Lake Erie. They gave us a early check-in and the house was well equipped with everything you need also has wi-fi and satellite tv.Great porch with a really nice yard with fire pit, grills and picnic tables the lake is about 50 steps away and it was right about half way located on the strip. The property management team was great and available .

To start our stay: The property manager did not even have our reservation!! We booked through VRBO and Evolve. The confirmation email said that check in was at 1pm, so when we arrived to check in at 2:45pm, our cottage was not cleaned or ready!! We waited over an hour for it to be cleanedand to meet COVID standards- which was an absolute joke- just pathetic! Upon entering, the cottage it was about 95 degrees bc there was not central AC, as advertised! There were 2 old, dirty window units to cool the entire cottage! The cottage had a dirty watersmell and there was an attempt to mask the smell with car treeair fresheners hanging throughout. The floor was not swept- there was dirt, rocks, sand all along the baseboards on both levels. The stove was hoteven though everything was turned off. The fridge was disgusting and the top of it had black dirt and what looked like mouse droppings! The front and rear doors didn't fully latch closed- nor did the deadbolts work- so we didn't feel safe! The vertical blinds didn't cover any of the 3 sliding glass doors- so privacy was non-existent!! The stairs were dangerous and had no railing to protect you from failing through the opening and not to mention the lack of head space when you went up the stairs! The linens smelled like they had been stored for a while and not washed. There were NO TOWELS available, as advertised. There was no toilet paper holder or TP available (thankfully we brought our own) and no paper towels, either. The bathroom sink vanity was very loose and cracked. The left faucet in the bathroom had reversed water- my daughter nearly scalded herself when trying to wash her hands!! The walkway down to water was DANGEROUS- the loose railings and wet stones were definitely not up to code!! The best thing about our entire stay was the location on the strip and getting to go home!! This was not our first stay in a VRBO rental, but by far the least desirable and the description/pictures were extremely misleading!!
