Dad and adult daughter needed a place to see Cleveland and this place was available and affordable. Three bedroom two full baths was more than we needed. Could easily accommodate 6 people. Older home with tons of character nicely refinished with lots of space and amenities. The AC was on when we checked ourselves in. TV was set up with Netflix. Quiet neighborhood close to everything. We did downtown Cleveland, the Cuyahoga National park, and many other points of interest and they we all pretty close to this unit. Met the owner as we were checking out. Great guy who really does a good job with this place. I would highly recommend it for parties up to 6.

There was no comfortable place to sit unfortunately. We wanted a house versus a hotel to have a family room to hang out but it was not comfortable. Upstairs shower no hot water after running it for 15 minutes. Kitchen faucet also leaked while operating. It was overall disappointing.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Rachel, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We've replaced both the faulty valve in the upstairs shower and the kitchen faucet, and both are working optimally
-Based on guest feedback, we're looking into different options for replacing the furniture within the living room
Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

We were disappointed in our stay at this property. The neighborhood was not ideal, particularly for a family vacation. We were looking forward to enjoying the outside deck area, but found it unkept, uninviting and didn’t feel comfortable spending time there. We felt a bit unsafe in the neighborhood and when asked about moving to a new property were denied. We were excited about this “charming” property, but it turned out to be a less than inviting historic property with few amenities.

    Manager's Response:

From the owner: "Sorry you found our Carriage House stay unsatisfactory. It is in a safe, urban, not suburban setting, minutes from all downtown activities and even the wonderful Cleveland Zoo. Our 127-year-old three-story building has both stained glass and leaded glass windows with two full baths, a jetted tub in one, and a complete laundry. You also had full access to our covered deck and patio in the backyard. I suggest you might be happier in a motel than staying in a house on the National Register of Historic Properties."

Perfect for our family. The location is exactly what we wanted. There were 6 adults. We felt the accommodations were great! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
