Small Family Reunion
5/5 Close to all with unbelievable view; upper hill fire pit and playroom with Pac-Man were a bonus. Very clean.

Enjoyed our visit
4/5 We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the lake view and spent time in the evening sitting outside. Location was very convenient to the park and town. Neighborhood was quiet and mattresses were comfortable. Only issue we had is that it was a bit hot while we were there and the air conditioning upstairs just doesn’t do enough to cool the rooms.

From the Owner: "Thank you so much for choosing Elsie’s Cottage. I am so glad to hear you enjoyed your time in the home. I apologize that it was warm in the upstairs rooms. I am aware of this issue as it is an older home not originally designed with central air conditioning. To start the summer I always install two window A/C units, one in each upstairs bedroom. This helps supplement the central A/C and keeps the bedrooms comfortable. These units were installed after you completed your stay. In hindsight, I should have installed these units a couple of weeks earlier. I do apologize, I sincerely hope it didn’t take away from your overall enjoyment of your stay."

5/5 We really loved this place. It was clean, convenient to Watkins Glen, and wineries. It was very private. The deck was wonderful to hang out on, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Had a great time. Will definitely be back. We had no problem with the driveway that the listing did point out but do heed their warning.
