  We wanted to getaway on a nice quiet getaway in the mountains but this experience was anything but. The house was very quaint but the owners of the house failed to mention the road construction and demolition of the bridge about 100 feet away from the home. Loud noises all day long and early, which is fine but nighttime wasn’t any better at all! Loud generators were sure to keep our kids up at all hours of the night. Not being from this area at all, it would have been nice to know that this vacation wasn’t going to be what my family and I were looking for or we would have canceled for a later date. Detouring for 1 hour extra to try to get to this home was a complete inconvenience. Communication could have been much better from this management team as checkin was at 3pm. Not only did we receive the wrong entry code and were outside waiting, but they notified us that there was a mistake and they slated checkin for 5pm instead. They were able to eventually get us a code that did work. Not all locks on exterior doors work, walls are super thin and the floor is extremely noisy. Great getaway for young skiers, NOT for families with kids! Also, bring your own silverware and cutlery.

We understand the responsiveness of our property manager was not consistent with excellence in customer service. We understand how important communication is to our guests and we will follow up with our guest contact to ensure future guests do not share the same experience.

• Weekend wedding

  Our family was attending a wedding at Hunter Mtn Resort. The rental was perfect for our weekend. The location was great,beautiful trail across the street and the wooded lot was peaceful. Wish we had stayed and extra day to enjoy the many restaurants and little towns.

  House was adorable and great location, just down the road from hunter mountain. Had what we needed for our 2 night stay. Had an air mattress, which we needed but we couldn’t locate any extra sheets. We found a blanket but no sheets. Overall it was a nice experience. Took a risk since house had no reviews prior to booking but it all ended well thankfully!
