  Hosts were very accommodating, and house was clean. However, with the space you get the price feels a little excessive. The house is very small, along with the beds. My partner and I are both 5’11, so it was quite difficult to move about and sleep comfortably. The beds were very comfortable, however not ideal for tall people. We loved the back porch, had a lots of great seating options, we also loved sleeping with the screen door open in the loft area. The location was also not conducive to vehicles, the roads are very narrow. Also the house is remote, so no Ubers or Lyfts will come (FYI).

While we haven’t received similar concerns in the past two years, our goal is to expand the downstairs bedroom and add a queen-size bed, which we believe will address this. We’re glad you enjoyed the back porch, and we agree that the breeze through the upstairs loft screen door is especially refreshing this time of year. Many guests appreciate the property’s remote location, which offers the quiet and relaxation that makes a perfect getaway. • Private location perfect size

  This was the second time I stayed at this property and really do love it. It is close enough to my family in Ridgefield for me to fee like I am just around the corner, while being in a quiet, peaceful private property. The setup was perfect for myself and my mom, but could also accommodate a larger group. It isn’t a big space, but had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be looking to stay here again on another visit. Thank you!

• Alone In A Cabin in the Woods

  Everything was easy and fine at the space. I had to stay for family reasons - so "location" was the most important factor to me. The worst thing in the unit is that the spiral stair is narrow - and a fat person or person with bad knees is NOT going to be using that stairwell easily. Otherwise, the unit had everything I needed and was perfectly appointed for an easy weekend stay. Enjoy!
