5/5 4 friends gathered for a girl’s weekend and this property blew us away! It was beautiful and so well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and more for our meals we prepared. The bedrooms were fantastic, with very comfortable beds. The view of the lake was spectacular, whether we were inside the house or outside. The location of the property was perfect for getting to nearby wineries and eateries. This is a property I would highly recommend!

Fixer upper and not on the lake
3/5 While I see the potential in this property, it’s not complete. The home is undergoing renovations, which they don’t tell you in the listing.
The home is not actually on the lake. It is very close, but you have to walk down a steep driveway and then cross a major road (that has semi trucks roaring by at 60mph day and night).
It was not clean (hairs in the shower and bugs are not ok).
There is a middle man who is also taking fees (on top of the VRBO fees). I’ve never seen that when using VRBO. They assign you a property manager (who never responded when I emailed her).
That said, the owner did reach out to me directly (after I called and emailed the company numerous times) and she was helpful. My recommendation is to take it off VRBO and rent by owner!
