Getaway Gem
5/5 Even though the pictures and description of the property are accurate, you really can't believe how serene and beautiful it is each time the guest house comes into view. Lots of space for everything, and plenty of room to relax. We enjoyed feeling like we were out in the country, while being no more than 20 minutes from most things we wanted to do (Vassar, wine-tasting, breweries, hikes).

Peaceful spot for a fall getaway
5/5 The property was exactly as advertised. Very quiet, peaceful, beautiful location. Nice ammenities were provided by the owners.
We went to the NYS Sheep and Wool festival. The location was ideal to reach the Duchess county fairgrounds for the event in 20 minutes and no bridge to cross so no bridge traffic delays. We and our lab loved walking the grounds.
We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful country retreat
5/5 What a gorgeous setting for a New York vacation! The Summer Fox Home was our first 3 day stop as we toured the east side of the Hudson Valley! All agreed that 3 days wasn’t enough time at this beautiful and peaceful horse ranch. The host, Rebecca, was extremely helpful and resourceful offering suggestions to our group. A welcome treat was a chilled bottle of wine along with delicious cheese and crackers! We highly recommend the Summer Fox Home for anyone who wants a heavenly getaway. No doubt, this was our favorite!
