  Overall we liked it.Although we wished the air conditioning unit worked better, had some really hot days, the lighting in the dining room was rather useless though stylish and the small wood porch is seriously deteriorating. Loved the swing chair and the location, saw lots of deer.

• Quiet getaway

  The house was well equipped and we enjoyed the projector TV. The bathroom was especially nice. There was no air conditioner set up when we got there, and it was a very warm day. There was confusion as to whether it was central or window unit, and we contacted the property manager (who was very reachable and responded quickly), who contacted the owner. Eventually the property manager said she could come by and help to figure out the situation. We decided that since the weather was going to be cooler after the first day, to do without the A/C. Maybe for future renters this will be remedied? The only other note is that the exterior space where the fire pit is, and just the exterior in general could use some love/cleaning up. Even just getting rid of all the dead leaves around the front door and fire pit area and cleaning the windows would help. We did very much appreciate the washer and dryer, the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and the quiet of the area.
