This was a beautiful house with more than the usual amenities. The swimming pool and hot tub were particularly delightful. Our party of 8 enjoyed dining in the charming dining room. The laundry room was a distinct pleasure. There were 3 refrigerators which made our lives easier because we brought food frozen to cook. The initial impression was is that you are in the country because trees surround the house. Actually, we were very close to the city of Rochester with many fine dining restaurants. There are many sites to see. We particularly enjoyed a tour boat on the Erie Canal. Passing through a lock was amazing. The owner and manager couldn’t have been more helpful. We highly recommend this place.

Very big house to accommodate large group. Some of the bigger bedroom could have two double beds instead of one king or queen size bed for more sleeping options. The kitchen needs a few more items for cooking large meals. Like pyrex casserole dishes for lasagna or casserole meals. Larger type serving bowls and non-stick skillets for easier use in preparing meals. Also some smaller plastic type cups and plates for children. The Pool was excellent.

This house is beautiful and very roomy. Our four-year-old granddaughter called it an adventure as she tried to see every part of the house. The pool was the center of our entertainment. The house contact person was very friendly, helpful, and accessible. Linens and towels were provided as well as most other necessities. However, if a large group stays for more than a few days, be prepared to buy more paper towels, toilet paper, and possibly more dishwasher soap. There was enough shower supplies for us (body wash and shampoo). Of course, anything you might need can be bought within a mile since there are stores all along the next street. There is a lot to see and do in the area or you can just stay at the house relaxing by the pool. It was the perfect place for our vacation as we had several family members coming from across the country and we needed a big place for us to stay together.

I call this (part 2) because I was asked to comment yesterday as well. I want to add a comment, so I will do a second. I want people to know that the coffee pot provided is a Nexpresso with unique pods. A few pods were provided but this is not a typical coffee maker. We ended up getting a regular 12 cup coffee maker from our son’s house so that we could make coffee the way we were used to doing. We also got filters from our son.
As I mentioned in my first review, this house is amazing and we enjoyed our stay. The pool was the center of our entertainment although we did take a few adventures to nearby events. The house contact person was friendly, helpful, and easily accessible.
The only thing to consider is that some supplies need to be bought if a large group stays for more than a few days: more toilet paper, paper towels, regular ground coffee, and perhaps more dishwasher soap.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Having to purchase a few extra items was only a very minor inconvenience compared to the pleasure we enjoyed having our family together again.
