5/5 If you like nature, want to get out and paddle a kayak or paddle board this is the place. Birds , turtles , dragon flies . Every single thing you could want in a home base included. Well stocked kitchen, cozy bedrooms and living room. Porch and decks speak for themselves.
Uncle John's Cottage was simply the best "on the bay" vacation!
5/5 Mary and Chuck could not have been better hosts during our stay at their "Uncle John's" cottage on Blind Sodas Bay. Wonderful sunsets, cool breezes, and plenty of sunshine-filled days gave us and our family a very memorable time during our two-week stay at the cottage. The three outdoor decks that surrounded the cottage were prefect opportunities to have private collaboration with family or enjoy a meal as we gazed and the beautiful waterfront that overlooked the Bay.
We will be booking future stays there at Uncle John's.

Most Relaxing
5/5 Just had the most relaxing vacation at Uncle John’s cottage! Mary and Chuck were the most gracious hosts, always checking on us to make sure we were comfortable. The cottage easily housed 5 adults with no issues. The cottage is equipped with EVERYTHING you would need while vacationing. We have rented our share of cottages in the past years to be close to family. This is the BEST cottage ever!! Thank you Mary and Chuck. Looking forward to seeing you next year!
Totally Relaxing
5/5 I arrived in the afternoon and sat out on the back deck. Within an hour I was watching a family of swans, a bald eagle had flown over twice and I had seen to great blue herons.
The cottage was immaculate. The nieghbors, also the owners greeted me and helped me move in and get settled. I have to say I was slightly hobbled and using a cane. They frequently checked on me to make sure there was nothing I needed. They were never intrusive just helpful.
The cottage layout was good. The TV and internet worked fine. I like it kind of cool when sleeping and the AC and fans made it quite comfortable. the kitchen was sell stocked with pots and pans, dishes, glassware.... everything I needed.
One caveat... The recliner was a little to comfortable. Once I settled in it in the evening I didn't want to get out of it. LOL
I enjoyed my time there thoroughly and booked for next year.
